Connecting with the local community

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Hayes Town SNT attended an all ladies event at the Hillingdon Central Mosque. Officers offered a visible presence, engaged with the attendees and offered a 15 minute talk in relation to crime prevention advice, MetEngage and reporting crime. Once the session was finished, officers address the concerns raised, spoke with all attendees and encouraged everyone to register to MetEngage.

We're grateful to have attended, as it provided a valuable opportunity to connect with our residents and local community.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
